 New Advisory Board Members

Rich Destefano  As a delegate in the 2006 Sheridan CiViC Project, Rich is familiar with the work of the CVC. Working at First Interstate Bank, and previously serving on the Chamber of Commerce, Child Development Center, and YMCA boards, he is sure to bring along an array of highly effective resources.

"I appreciate how the CVC engages citizens in service to the community, especially through education and the CiViC Project."

Tyson Emborg  Tyson joins the board representing Sheridan High School, where he is currently teaching American Government. He has collaborated with the CVC on previous projects, including the candidate’s forums, the "We the People" civic educational program, and the High School mock election.

"I value most the work being done to encourage civic engagement among the young people in our area."

Mary Jo Johnson  Also a delegate from the 2006 Sheridan CiViC Project, Mary Jo has assisted the CVC with previous candidate’s forums. She currently works for Sheridan Media and has also served on the Noah’s Ark Pre-school and Civic Theatre Guild board.

"Since the CVC was started, I have witnessed a marked increase in civic involvement from residents of all walks of life. The CVC has worked very hard to meet their mission statement of "engaging citizens", and they provide so many opportunities to help people do just that."
